Rick Bassman Rick first ventured into professional wrestling in 1985, with the formation of PowerTeam USA, from which he discovered Sting and The Ultimate Warrior. With a self-admitted "on and "off" involvement in wrestling between 1986 and 1990, during that period, Rick was involved with various independent promotions, such as Lia Maivia's Polynesian Pro Wrestling and Karl Lauer's California Championship Wrestling. Rick's responsibilities with these organizations included ring crew, marketing and promotions, referee, ring announcer and heel manager. Rick joined the Walt Disney Company in Florida full-time in 1990 as a Television and Marketing Executive. While in Florida, Rick is credited as bringing pro wrestling to both Disney and to Universal Studios for the first time. In 1998, Rick founded UPW and Ultimate University and has dedicated himself to the pro wrestling business and particularly, the development of future Superstars.

Todd Keneley Todd co-instructs Promo Class with Rick Bassman. Keneley graduated with honors with a degree in Communication from The University Of Southern California (USC) where he was also a Defensive Tackle on the Trojan Football team. He joined UPW as an announcer / on-air talent in 2000. Todd acts as a producer, provides play-by-play commentary and conducts pre and post match interviews with talent on all UPW and Valor Fighting DVD releases. He also heads up UPW’s creative team, and is a contributing writer for UPW.com. Todd Keneley remains very active in sports entertainment broadcasting, providing play-by-play commentary and appearing as on-air talent for additional pro wrestling and fighting promotions including The National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), Elite XC and Chuck Norris' World Combat League. Keneley is a valuable asset when it comes to helping students with promo skills and character development.

Anthony Rosas Anthony helps UU students
put together matches and gain a better understanding of the
in-ring experience. He is able to give the students
experience working with a referee in the ring, which is a
valuable asset. Trained by current WWE Raw referee Mart
Elias, Anthony's experience includes not only refereeing for
UPW, but also with NWA, PWG & New Japan Pro Wrestling among
other companies, including a tour of South Africa and the
Wrestle FanFest in 2007. A true student of the business,
Anthony has shared UPW booking responsibilities for several
years and is also the webmaster for upw.com.
